Today the UKRN releases a new primer and related materials to support institutions who are setting up or running networks of Open Research Champions. A Champion promotes and advocates open research, acts as a role model of open research practices, is knowledgeable of where to find information on open research practices and facilitates their adoption. They benefit by being coordinated in an institution-wide network, so that they can become a community of practice and support each other.
This primer, and the supporting materials from UKRN institutions, provides insight into how these networks work well. We would like to add to the supporting materials over the next year and so, if you can share documents related to your Champions network, please email neil.jacobs@bristol.ac.uk.
