Advisory Board
An external advisory group comprising senior academics from the international research communityOrganisation and membership
The Advisory Board is responsible for providing critical input and strategic advice on the overall direction and activity of UKRN.
Advisory Board members, including the Chair, are appointed by the Steering Group, based on recommendations made by the UKRN community (Advisory Board, Steering Group, Institutional Leads, Local Network Leads, and Stakeholder Engagement Group) for a term of one year initially, with the option to renew for a further two years at the end of this. If the Steering Group offers this, the incumbent Advisory Board member may decide to accept or decline. In exceptional circumstances, an Advisory Board member may be offered the option to renew for a further one year, maximum of twice (i.e., five years served in total).
