Charlotte Pennington

Charlotte Pennington is a Lecturer in Psychology at Aston University. Her research focuses mainly upon addictive behaviours, such as the cognitive mechanisms that drive alcohol consumption, and social cognition, including evaluating measures of implicit bias. Charlotte also has a passion for methodology, open science and reproducibility and is involved in several open science and meta-science projects. Charlotte’s main areas of interest for presenting are pre-registration, Registered Reports, multi-lab collaboration, open research, training, embedding open science into the undergraduate curriculum, ReproducibiliTea journal clubs, and the replication crisis in psychology, its possible explanations and solutions.
