Dermot Lynott

Dermot Lynott is a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Maynooth University in Ireland. His research falls broadly within the areas of cognitive science and embodied cognition, including how people’s linguistic, bodily and environmental experiences shape their mental representations and how this affects the way they process the world around them. He strongly supports an open science approach to research, and strives to make his work as transparent and reproducible as possible.
