18 November: Responsible Research Metrics

Content overview

Responsible Research Metrics promote an equitable approach to assessing research outputs. They avoid the promotion of negative practices, acknowledge disciplinary differences, and provide context for a role or output.

This course will show how the a librarian at the University of Southampton developed an asynchronous learning module to promote the use of Responsible Research Metrics from the perspective of the researcher and the hiring manager and support attendees to fork the repository so that can edit the content and move towards hosting their own pages.

This is a train-the-trainer course.  It contains a section on pedagogy to assist you in developing your own local training.
