We’re delighted to announce that the University of Leicester and University of Oxford have joined the UKRN-led Open Research programme.

This consortium is now 20 universities working together with partners to improve open research practice in their own institutions and across higher education in the UK.

Leicester and Oxford will now benefit from the programme’s work on training and sharing ideas on improvement, such as the upcoming Open Research Professional and Technical Staff Roundtable (20 February, London).

The programme is also rolling out its train-the-trainer open research workshops, and the South West’s GW4 consortium is one of the first to take them up.

In other news, in December the UK Reproducibility Network commented on the UK Committee on Research Integrity’s draft strategic plan. We look forward to seeing the outcome and working with UK CORI on developing its work.

UKRN is also revising its terms of reference and will be sharing that with all members and interested partners by end of March.
