Indicators of Open Research
A workshop was hosted by the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN), Public Library of Science (PLOS) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) on 4th October 2023
A short informal note is available here to summarise the main topics covered in the workshop attended by around 20 representatives mainly of major research funders and publishers. The aims of the workshop were to enable:
- funders and publishers to share perspectives on their interests and potential priorities in monitoring open research practices, in the light of the outcomes from the UKRN ‘call for priorities’ and other developments;
- UKRN to understand those perspectives, which may inform planning for a set of institutional pilot projects in 2024, which will test solutions to help institutions plan and monitor progress on priority aspects of open research.
