Many Reproducibility Network (RN) representatives were London this month for the Metascience 2025 Conference. The UKRN team took advantage of this to convene an in-person RN meeting and to share updates on several EU-based research projects.

Fifteen national RNs were represented in the meeting (Africa region, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and UK), with 29 people attending in-person and 8 more online.

RNs are currently working to forge a Global Federation of Reproducibility Networks (GFRN) and Maximilian Frank (German RN) provided an update on this work. There were then short presentations and Q&A sessions on 4 EU projects:

TRUSTparency  Speaker: Panagiotis Kavouras

Knowledge Exchange Speaker: Anna Mette Morthorst

Open Science to Increase Reproducibility in Science (OSIRIS). Speaker: Inge Stegeman

Improving Reproducibility in Science (iRISE) Speaker: Sarah McCann

These were followed by a discussion around collaborative working and future funding opportunities for RNs and EU partners.

We thank the Department of Anthropology, University College London for hosting the meeting.
