We’re excited to welcome a new member to the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN) Stakeholder Group!

Signals has joined our growing network of organisations, with Elliott Lumb as a representative. The work of Signals is closely aligned with UKRN’s mission to foster a rigorous and trustworthy research environment.

Elliott notes that: “Signals’ mission is to restore trust in research by delivering transparent, dynamic evaluations of research credibility to researchers, publishers, and institutions. We combine network analysis, expert knowledge, and AI to evaluate every publication, surfacing trustworthy works and flagging integrity risks”

The decision to join the Stakeholder Group reflects a shared belief in the power of collaboration across the research ecosystem – a value at the heart of UKRN’s approach.

Co-founder of Signals, Elliott Lumb is particularly motivated to contribute to the UKRN Stakeholder Group because of its focus on collaboration across the research ecosystem  something he sees as essential in his own work. He is also keen to meet and collaborate with other UKRN Member Groups, learn more about the challenges faced by diverse stakeholders, and ensure that what he builds at Signals reflects the needs and priorities of the broader research community.

Elliott suggested that where helpful, he is happy to contribute Signals’ data and insights to support UKRN’s work in promoting best practices for rigorous research.

Please join us in welcoming Elliott and Signals to the UKRN Stakeholder Group!
