Professor Brian Nosek, the co-Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Open Science, delivers his keynote talk at the Open Science Webinar at Keele University on 27th August 2019.

First Steps into Open Science

We are living in the age of the replication crisis. Demonstrating engagement in open science practice is now a fundamental aspect of high-quality research. For postgraduates and early career researchers, however, open science can be a daunting task. We may not know how to start or why it is necessary. This webinar aims to give you the chance to explore open science wherever is convenient for you, to improve the research culture for all.

Our keynote speaker, Professor Brian Nosek, will talk to us about how postgraduate students and early career researchers can get into open science, one step at a time.

The keynote talk will be followed by a panel discussion, where ECRs and PhD students discuss their experiences of open science and offer you chance to be part of the Open Science story.

Join us and become part of the research renaissance.

Please note spots are limited to 100 attendees so please register now to secure your spot for attendance.
