A place has become available in the UKRN Supervisory Board, and we are keen to use this as an opportunity to broaden representation within this part of UKRN by including a Local Network Lead as a member of the Supervisory Board.

Supervisory Board members attend an online meeting every two weeks, which last approximately 45 minutes, to discuss issues arising in relation to the operation of UKRN, including future direction and strategy. They also communicate electronically, comment on documents, and provide input on various ongoing initiatives.

We are therefore inviting applications from Local Network Leads. If you are interested, please submit a short (1-2 page) letter describing your motivation for being a Supervisory Board member, and what you would bring. We particularly encourage applications from diverse communities that have historically been under-represented.

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss the role informally, please feel free to contact any member of the Supervisory Board. Applications will be evaluated by the Advisory Board, based on the motivation for being a member, and the skills and experience that an applicant would bring.

Please submit letters to contact@ukrn.org, using the subject line Supervisory Board LNL application, by Friday 1st October 2021. Decisions will be made, and applicants notified of the outcome, no later than 29th October 2021.
